Your viewers can hype your videos to show their excitement for your content and help your channel get discovered by new audiences.

Allow viewers to hype your videos
Note: The Hype beta tab will only surface if your channel is eligible. Creators in Türkiye will be auto-enrolled for pay to hype. There is an option to opt out by toggling the 'hype' button.
- On a computer, sign in to YouTube Studio.
- In the left menu, click Earn

- Click the Hype Beta tab.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you haven’t yet, sign the Commerce Product Module (CPM).
- (This doesn’t apply for creators in Turkey).
.Once you’ve completed all the instructions, viewers in eligible countries can either pay to hype your videos on their YouTube Android mobile app or hype it three times a week at no charge.
How to opt out of hype
You will be auto-enrolled in hype with the option to disable it. You can disable hype in YouTube Studio (desktop only) within Advanced settings. If you want to opt out of hype:
Note: These opt-out steps apply if you are in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia or Spain.
- Log in to YouTube Studio on your desktop.
- Navigate to the Settings

- Select Channel to view your channel settings.
- Select Advanced settings and you'll find Hype.
- Deselect the box next to 'Let viewers hype my content'.
